A journey to Bray

Category: General |

03 October 2010

It was supposed to be another lazy Sunday, but sunny and surprisingly warm weather encouraged me to do some activity. I decided to do some sightseeing and went to Bray. Shame on me - this is really beautiful place and I have never been there, so it was a perfect opportunity to go there and take some pictures. Bray - a seaside town situated about 20km south of Dublin, with its scenic and popular landmark - Bray Head.

I wasn't prepared to go at the top of the Bray Head (which is the subject of my next trip), so I did a nice walk alongside the promenade. Because I missed my train to the city centre, I jumped to the next one going in opposite direction - Greystones. Just a trip there by train was impressive, mostly because of the scenic views, so this is another place to visit. Pictures have been posted on my tumblr.
